A book of stories : Denton, Texas, 2005 / Calhoun Middle School students.

Artist's book. Inspired by traditional Aztec and Mayan codex-form books and the work of Enrique Chagoya. Using watercolor, ink, and collage, each student created a section of the codex. The individual sections were assembled into a single work, bound accordion-style, with cloth-covered cover boards attached to first and last section.

The Texas Fine Arts Commission was created in 1965 by the 59th Legislature through House Bill 273 as a temporary agency.
